Welcome to Our New Graduate Support Analysts

We're pleased to have welcomed Joe and Harry to the De Facto team last month, who have joined the Support department to provide increased assistance for our customers.

We asked our new recruits to tell us a bit about themselves. Here's what they had to say...

Joe - Graduate Support Analyst

"Outside of work, I enjoy exploring new places and experiencing new things, whether that’s walking in the Peak District, along the Essex coastline or further afield. Last year I visited Venice and Stockholm, and this summer I am looking forward to returning to the USA on a road trip around California and Nevada.

I’ve always been interested in technology and how it is shaping the world, not only through its impact on businesses but also in everyday life. This led me to study IT and Computer Science at college, before going on to graduate in Computing with a specialisation in Cyber Security.

As a result, my goal is to build a career in the technology sector where I can apply my problem-solving and analytical skills to real-world challenges, gain a practical understanding of how technology is used in businesses and their processes, while being able to learn from new challenges and experiences.

The drive for personal development and learning is one of the reasons I chose De Facto. The structured training programme provides the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals through a combination of training and shadowing. It’s a great company to develop a strong understanding of ERP systems, all within a friendly and supportive environment."

Harry - Graduate Support Analyst

"I enjoy spending my time outdoors, particularly hiking, camping and climbing, as well as volunteering as a Scout Leader. In the summer I, I also like attending live music events and festivals.

I studied Computer Science for Games at the University of Brighton, where I developed a strong passion for both programming and game development, and I continue to build small games and programming projects in my free time.

Looking ahead, I aim to pursue a career that allows me to combine my technical and creative problem-solving skills. I chose De Facto because of its strong focus on training and support, which have already helped me to gain insight into the businesses it works with and the software it develops."
